"ONE OF THE MOST ANTICIPATED THEATRE PRODUCTIONS OF 2025"

The Globe and Mail

From one of Canada's most celebrated composers and writer for musical theatre comes LIFE AFTER - the "most anticipated theatre production of 2025" (The Globe & Mail). This luminous original musical first captivated audiences in a sold-out Toronto premiere in 2017, earning widespread acclaim before taking the stage at San Diego's Old Globe Theatre and Chicago's Goodman Theatre to rave reviews. Now, LIFE AFTER makes its return to Toronto at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre for a strictly limited four-week engagement!

Frank Carter is a famous self-help author, but his optimistic advice offers little solace to his 16-year-old daughter, Alice. After his untimely death, Alice embarks on a quest for truth, unravelling the events that changed her family's life forever. As she navigates her memories, her relentless search for the facts reveals a much more complicated truth.

With book, music and lyrics by Dora Award winner Britta Johnson and direction by Lucille Lortel Award winner Annie Tippe, this gripping musical explores how we move through life and live with loss.
